The New Year

Our New Years Eve was pretty low key but fun.  Georgia isn't at an age where she can really enjoy New Year's games but I tried to let her have a good time anyhow.

I got Georgia all dressed up (let her pick out 1 of her 3 fancy dresses) and decided to do a small photo shoot of her "fancy dress".  (The backdrop is a bed sheet from Ross)  She just felt SO pretty...you could tell.  She was acting so prissy.  I seriously could frame every single one of these pictures! (although none of her priss really showed in the pics)

Then, Jonathan and I got dressed as well and we went out to just get dessert.  Georgia got A LOT of attention all dressed up.  A little boy, about 7, even got my attention and said, "you have a really cute baby!" So sweet!  And yes, my hair had been in that messy bun all day so I just left it and tried to disguise it with a head band :/

We tried fireworks with her but as I guessed she was hysterical.  Terrified...even of sparklers.

Jonathan and I were both asleep before midnight.  The two of us have been so congested lately and our sinus medicines are just totally wiping us out!

On New Year's Day I let Georgia pick out a 2nd of her 3 "fancy dresses" and we went to my mom's to eat black eyed peas and cabbage (actually, I don't eat the peas but bring on the health and wealth!)

All in all, 2012 was a remarkable year for my family and I.  We are so blessed beyond measure and I need to remember that every single day instead of focusing on what I want next.  I'm not making any goals as of yet but I may.  I'm just hoping and praying that 2013 will bring us a few big changes.
