Not speaking Italian is not an issue either; Nick and I learned a little, but pretty much everyone speaks English. We would try our Italian and then everyone would just start talking to us in English, the people are very helpful and friendly! Trains are way easy, you get to the station and you just basically look up at the boards for your train number or destination. I would get to the station about 30 mins before, and be sure to look around at the boards that are constantly changing, and sometimes they have papers posted around too with information. The papers or board will give you a number and there are numbers on each "station" where the trains come in. You just wait there, the train pulls up, and you find your seat. Most of the time they don't even ask to see your ticket. If anything, I would buy train tickets ahead of time (it made our trip much easier) but it really is the only way to go! Also, there are several taxis outside the train station that can take you where ever, or there are hotels right by them. Hope this helps!Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17724892538772507654noreply@blogger.com
