I'm not usually a Saturday poster but I wanted to finish up our vacation pictures. I'm not sure I ever mentioned it but we stayed at The Beach Club and it was wonderful!
We took family pictures on the beach of course. The only group missing is my brother and SIL's little family because my nephew was super upset (turns out he was getting sick) so my SIL didn't want to keep those pictures. I kept him crying in the grand-baby picture though because it's just too funny not to! Also, my other brother and his girlfriend couldn't make it because they just started new jobs.
It just started raining while we were taking these so they were SUPER quick!
From left to right is: Georgia, Jonathan, me, my mom, my stepdad, my SIL, my oldest brother, my nephew, and niece.
Out to eat one night. To say Cooper loves Georgia would be a huge understatement. He's so sweet with her!
There was karaoke there and the little ones went CRAZY over it. These are terrible pictures because it was so dark but I just wanted to remember how much they loved the singing!
This is Georgia dancing!
Jonathan and I were able to get away for just a bit to have a date night at the resort's restaurant.
Eventually, it was time to head home. We first had to wait for the ferry.
Jonathan's great aunt died our last day of vacation. So, he drove our car to Louisiana to make the wake and Georgia and I had to squeeze into my brother's suburban with his family plus my mom and step dad. All three littles were in the back, me - my mom - and my SIL were in the middle, and the guys were up front. It was kind of a rough 9 plus hours. We had to drive to drop off my mom and step dad at their house and then drive to our house. At one point all the kids were in the back crying and we all just had to laugh about it.
I had suckers to give out as distractions. Her sucker stick ended up stuck to her face. I died!
They all slept 1.5 hours. That sounds good except we were in the car over 9 hours!
Sweet babies...turns out they were sharing a lot of germs that trip...as always!
Until next summer...
