Recent Design Work

July 1, 2014

Find my shop HERE

Sweet and simple custom baby shower design.

These are not in my shop but I made them as art work for me and Jonathan's nightstands.  The one I wrote will go above his nightstand and the one he wrote will be above mine.  I think it's sweet.  We each just wrote, "I love you" once and I photoshopped it :)

A few more custom baby shower designs.  I just screen shoted them from my Etsy shop so you can get a better look at my actual shop HERE.

And, a few Disney designs.  I do have more princesses but I just need to get my butt into gear on that!  My Ariel is my best seller :)  Someone ordered these but I didn't want to put their kid's face on my blog without their permission.  So, just know I have a Georgia not a Caroline ;)  To get full details and better images take a peek at my shop!

Tabs

February 17, 2010

Blogger recently added an "Edit Pages" area. These pages are the little tabs you see below my header. The first tabs I had I typed in the code for and made them myself so when I first saw the "Edit Pages" area I was kind of mad because the way I did it was much harder. Anyhow, I changed them all over and now have added several tabs such as goals and travel...you should go take a peek and then add your own.

To find how to add your own go to "Posting" and then "Edit Pages". It's pretty simple.

A Year in the Life

February 12, 2010

I finally made a photo book of our first year of marriage. These pictures are just screen shots of the editing program at Walgreens.com so obviously the quality in person in far better than what I can show at the time. I used walgreens to make wedding photo books for our parents as well and they turned out great so I'm a repeat customer! They are hard bound and walgreens has a lot of fun options. When I actually order it I'll post the updated one.

I'm also having my first year of blogs printed. I used Blog2print because you could get a PDF file for about 8 dollars and have it printed yourself. So, instead of paying 80+ dollars I'll spend about 20 when I take it to Kinko's to have them print and bind it for me! I'll post what it looks link once I have it printed and bound but for now here is the cover, a sample page, and the back cover. (the color looks strange on my work computer but not on my home computer...I think it just may be the school and not the actual quality.) I'm so glad I finally did this!

Check it OUT!

I added a new tab under my header. It's "What I'm Reading"

Check it out!

A little face lift

January 8, 2010

Has anyone noticed I added some links right below my header??? I'm trying to "clean" my blog up a bit so I took some things off of the side bars and added them to the header.

I added:
About Me, Home Tour, My Family, Our Wedding

...I'm still working on them a bit though. Enjoy!

Computer giveaway!

December 9, 2009

I love online giveaways...even though I have never won :(
So, Jonathan and I have been doing research on "All-in-one" computers and there is a really cool HP one that is touch screen, TOUCH SCREEN PEOPLE (plus, it is nearly 1,000 dollars less than the iMac in case you don't win and want to buy one) that I really want! But if you visit BooMama or MckMama they giving one away! How cool is that? All you have to do is leave a comment and you are entered!

Thoughtful Thursday & A Little Eye Candy

October 8, 2009

So Martin Luther (as in the Protestant Reformation people) is one of my favorite figures in Christian history. I've read his biography and absolutely loved it. My all time favorite Martin Luther quote is "My conscience is captive to the word of God" and I have it our home but I've recently found another Martin Luther quote, in Jonathan and I's devotionals, that I have also fallen in love with. "I know not the way God leads me, but well do I know my guide"

Just a little food for thought for your Thursday night...

Also, I've recently discovered Houzz.com and It. Is. Fantastic.

I usually cut out magazine pictures and save them in a notebook for reference but this is so much easier and less messy.

Here are a few of my favs. Enjoy!

Just lovely!
