Friday Favorites

-Georgia had this entire week off of gymnastics-

Georgia loves gymnastics and goes nine hours a week but it is not her life.  They put her on JO level 3 but we're having her transferred to Xcel Silver.  All that means is less point your toes and a lot more going for it.  She's excited for the change even though it is the same hours and same days of the week.  They go all throughout the summer so this week off has been nice.  We've been playing outside a lot.

-Last day of school-
It is finally summer for us.  She had a half day on Thursday and then was out.  Also, today is Jonathan's last day to work Fridays until school is back in.  He works all summer since he's a principal but he does get Fridays off so that's really nice.

-My kids matching-

It's no secret that I love for my kids to match.  I'm loving them in their new fun little summer shirts and patriotic shirts.  Just Target and resale finds but still fun. Confession: if they are out together then 99% of the time they are matching.

-Resale-

I said above I found some resale gems. Georgia needed some new summer clothes and I have been cleaning out her closet and our attic A TON.  On a whim I decided to hit up Once Upon A Child and found a ton of great summer clothes.  I wanted items where she could just dress herself and not look homeless.  One of my favorites was this dress from Target.  Obviously not expensive but it still had the tags so that's fun.  Plus her shoes in this pic are from Wal*Mart. Summer wins for sure!

-Registered for Preschool-

I've been on the fence about putting Milam in preschool next year because he'll be in the 3s class but he won't actually be 3 until August 22.  We plan on holding him back in school (for SO many reasons - mainly being I rather him the the oldest when he goes to college since he's a boy!) so I picked a preschool that goes through kinder as well and he'll just repeat kinder in public school when we get to that point. Doesn't he look like he'll just do swell?!
