Georgia has her third meet of the season in New Orleans. She got her highest beam score ever and the highest vault score for her team. Unfortunately, on floor her coach changed her floor routine 30 minutes before she competed and she didn't remember the changes. She ended up missing an entire skill and got her lowest score yet.
We got there Wednesday night and she competed on Thursday at noon. After the meet she was bummed but the meet was quickly forgotten and she had so much fun with her teammates and their families.
That night we met her friends at Drago's for dinner and then went on a Haunted carriage tour and ate dessert at Cafe Du Monde.
The next day we met the families at the Audubon Aquarium and had so much fun. I liked the otters. G liked the gift shop.
After that we went out on our own. We rode the street car through the garden district. We hopped off and walked to Magazine St. and had lunch at Dat Dog and then shopped the rest of the afternoon.
We went back to the hotel and rested a bit. We ate dinner at our hotel and met up with our friends at Fulton Alley. We bowled and had a great time. We walked to Cafe du Monde again and then turned in for the night.
We left the next day and headed home. It was a fun and quick girls trip. I'm so glad we went!
