We just finished the 6th week of homeschool and when you tack on the week of spring break before that this is our 7th week at home. It really breaks my heart that my kids have had so little interaction for that long. In general it has gotten easier. Jonathan is working from home full time and I've gotten into the swing of school a little better and have accepted that no two days will look alike and that's fine. We're getting her work done and turned in and that's what matters. I've been trying to do little bits of school with Milam. Sometimes formal. Sometimes informal. He is amazingly smart and such a good problem solver but sitting and learning is not his thing. Barrett is just along for the ride and becoming worse and worse at riding in the car due to maybe being in his carseat once a week.
We are still redoing the dining room, got a new love seat, and still working on house projects. We go on a lot of walks and this week was no different. Barrett also had his first sink bath and loved it! What he did not love was using the carrier on my back. He is SO rotten because we think he just the cutest and let him get away with whatever he wants.
