I've been keeping up with our life on lockdown but I wanted to post a weekend play by play as well as a weekday play by play. It is such an odd time in American history.
This Saturday was a little different because Jonathan went to ride his bike with one of his friends and my brother so I had a little more alone time with the kids than I normally do.
6:50 Barrett woke up but was talking to himself so when Jonathan rolled out of bed at 7:10 he had already fallen back asleep. He didn't wake up and get a bottle until 7:45. At some point in the early morning Milam had gotten up to go play in his sister's room but she wasn't there because she slept in our room that night.
By 8:00 Jonathan is making pancakes. We all eat and then Barrett ate after that.
I told Jonathan that since he was going to be gone most of the day it would be nice if he cleaned the hall bath before he left so I could take that off of my list. By 9:30 he was gone and I made our bed because I've turned into one of those strange people who feels accomplished with bed that's made. Go figure.
All the kids were playing so nicely in Milam's room for a bit.
I was trying to get everyone outside at some point and Milam peed in his pants (he couldn't decide which toys to put down to take him pants off and peed before he could decide), Barrett was crying, I got them dressed, put sunscreen the red head, Barrett being worn and still fussing at me. I managed to get them all outside and then shortly after had to go help my mom who had a herniated disk. Ouch. That was at 10:30.
Eventually I came home and got be down for a nap at 10:45 and sent the other two to play quietly in their rooms while I rehung a shower curtain and turned in all of Georgia's class work.
Some time around 11 I get the kids lunch. M in our room watching Smokey and the Bandit and G in her room playing.
At 12:30 Barrett wakes up and gets a bottle and I get the other kids outside.
At 1:30 Barrett eats lunch and the older two are playing outside some more...while I'm eating my emotions (ice cream)
It's now 2:00 and we're onto tummy time and then out for a walk. Jonathan got home around 2:30 and the kids played in the yard some more.
At 2:45 Milam went down for his nap and Barrett went down for his second nap at 3:15. I went on a run and then came home and snacked, relaxed, watched TV and had some computer time.
Barrett got up at 4:09
We had tacos for dinner and did our normal neighborhood walk and check in on my mom.
After our walk the boys get baths and Barrett goes to bed while Milam watches a movie in our bed for a bit. Georgia takes a bath while Milam watches his show and then joins when she's done. Milam goes to bed and then Georgia. I turn in before 11 because I was super tired since the night prior had been really long since I took my mom to the ER for her back. Nighty night.
