**I never proof read my blogs**
1. I bought myself some new makeup. I'm SUPER basic when it comes to self care. I know nothing about makeup and generally stick to Neutrogena because I have really sensitive skin. I got THIS concealer. The shade is a touch too light so I need to go up one. (I keep forgetting we've been outside a lot.) I also snagged a new blush (HERE) and mascara (HERE) and feel like a million bucks...when I actually have a reason to wear makeup. I finally got new hairspray too. I've rarely been using any self care products so it hasn't been a huge priority to stock up but it feels nice to do something normal. (I use THIS one for every day and I use THIS one for Georgia's gym hair)
2. Speaking of Georgia, we got our girl BACK FROM CAMP! She had the best time and I am just so proud of her. She loved waterskiing and was the only girl in her bunk to get the "Christian Character" award. I did laundry all day Saturday and washed some items three or four times. Her first two days at camp they had some rain and the dirt is dark red clay so it has been work getting it off of her clothes from her riding lessons.
3. Georgia and Milam were so excited to see each other. They had a really big hug and then snuggled in Georgia's bed and ready G's AG catalog. It was sweet. Barrett was really excited to see Georgia as well.
4. I FINALLY ordered Milam some new cups. I got him THESE because it's what we always use. The past few weeks I've been like, "where the heck did all his cups go?!" and then I remembered I threw them all away because he had chewed them up so bad...so I did buy now on Amazon. That feature can be dangerous.
5. We ventured out to the lake on Saturday. I wasn't feeling my best...I've been having some issues with dairy, and it was insanely hot but it was still fun. The big kids had a great time but Barrett wasn't the biggest fan. Milam even kayaked for the first time and LOVED it even though he's not good at it. At all. We got Georgia THIS one for her birthday several years ago and both kids have a great time with it mostly using it as a dive platform.
6. I also restocked ALL our vitamins. I stick with THESE for the kids and THESE for me. I also take a probiotic and the kids take elderberry, vitamin D, and calcium...which honestly, I should take too. I kept forgetting things at the store and had to take two extra trips. I hate it when that happens. BUT, I feel like such an adult after stocking up on all these things. Being 34 is so glam. Ha.
7. In other adulting news we FINALLY bought a new sofa. We actually got a sectional. It is super cool. The chaise part lifts up and has storage and the middle section pops out to become a huge sleeper. I can't wait to post pictures! I hadn't purchased one because I wanted one in stock and didn't want to have to wait 6 weeks but that's what we had to do. Now, I'm looking for art and a coffee table. The boys went shopping with us. Milam just had to bring his sling shot.
8. I had been needing to get Milam a blue hat. Oddly enough he's survived his almost four year with only two hats that are both green. Anyhow, we ended up getting him a cute one to match Jonathan's (HERE) and were suckered into buying Georgia some new Reef sandals (THESE - size up) because that's what happens at Tyler's. I can't make good choices. (STROLLER)
9. Our family hike was nice. We wanted to go on a walk but needed some shade so we went to a local park to hit the trails. We took Penny and she kept Barrett entertained in the back. So cute!
