Weekly Wrap Up - Lost Post

Monday

Monday kicked off Red Ribbon Week at Georgia's school.  As much as people complain about it, I really enjoy it.  I love coming up with themed outfits.  Monday was Texans/Astros day but we don't follow sports, like at all, so we did our best to pull together a sarcastic little Astros outfit.  My mom and aunt picked Georgia up from school because I took Milam to the doctor.  He has croup and bronchitis which is super fun and has left all of us exhausted. He's on a steroid and antibiotic plus a Rx cough med so he seems to be doing better but is grumpy and sleepy.

Tuesday

Today was BOOT day.  Y'all know I love boot days!  It was also the first day for Georgia to ride the bus.  On Monday - Wednesday we decided it was our best option for Georgia to ride the bus that way I don't have to wake up Milam and Barrett for morning car rider line.  Thursday and Friday, Milam has speech at 8am so I'll have to have everyone at school those days and she can't ride it home because of her gym schedule but this morning went really well besides having to wake her up 20 minutes earlier. She was really excited.

I had a few errands to run and Milam said he wanted to go to the cookie store so off we went. He picked an Astro's cupcake.

The kids were also super obsessed with each other this day.  LOTS of nuggalin'

Wednesday
Today was workout gear.  Super easy!  I like that her school keeps the days fairly basic so you don't have to run to the store and buy a bunch of stuff.

It was also breakfast with buddies and the book fair so a bit of a crazy morning.  She's been waiting for this book for months! It just came out.

I've also been meaning to mention how GREAT she's been doing at gymnastics.  She has one skill she's been working on for MONTHS and still hasn't gotten it BUT she's had so many other gains in so many other areas and her coaches have been giving her so many compliments.  Its been so nice to see all of her growth in the past few weeks and months.

Thursday

Today was crazy hair and crazy sock day.  It was a busy morning getting both kids up and ready plus crazy hair and speech but we got it done!  There was also blue hair chalk in her hair but it didn't photograph well.  Anyways, she rocked it.

Jonathan's co workers also gave him a baby shower which was totally unnecessary but very much appreciated! I had my final OB appointment that day so I couldn't make it and poor guy was so uncomfortable.  So funny.

Friday

Spirit Friday!

Milam and I hung out after speech, played and snuggled.

...

Then, my water broke in the middle of the night and by Saturday morning we had another Powell Baby!  Doesn't he look so happy to be here!
