Weekend Top Ten

1. So this past week Milam upgraded to THIS bike ramp system and has been obsessed. On Friday he went with Jonathan and my brother to the Rockstar Energy Bike Park in Houston. He's been three times now and this was his best trip yet. Even came back with a battle scar that breaks this momma's hearth. Here is a video of some of his sweet skills ;)

2. We went to our first car parade birthday party. I know. It's June and with all this covid insanity we've never been invited to one. Well now we have and it was really sweet. They actually had a water slide too that we let Milam play in and it was for sure the highlight of his week.

3. Watching him sit and drink his lemonade.  He's just so cute. A favorite.

4. I snagged this picture Friday night of Barrett.  I love his precious face and he loves THIS new stroller we got him. Gah...he's cute!

5.  We're almost 100% done with clearing out the backyard. When we bought our house it had a TON of scrap wood and metal poles and weird stuff stashed in the back yard. We cleared out most of it but the more underbrush we clear out as we take back the wooded section of the back 1/3 of our acre the more junk we unearth. Anyway, large trash collection is this week so made a huge pile at the curb. It was really satisfying!

6. We went out for Father's Day dinner on Saturday and had a lot of fun eating burgers, walking, getting dessert, and letting the kids play on this super cool music bench. The bench is for sure a favorite.

7. The koi fish in The Woodlands on the Waterway are SO BIG! We can't feed them but they swam right over to us so I'm pretty sure a lot of people do.  Georgia has even touched them!

8. I took the kids to Academy to pick out a gift for Jonathan. They were coming up with the best ideas on the way there. Unfortunately, not super helpful. A new school, and RV, tree, and a goat. At the store Milam picked out an airsoft gun, a spear, a sword, and a giant Bowie knife. I told him no on all of those but it was super memorable trip. Afterwards we went to Montgomery Bakehouse to pick out some treats for him. Milam picked out a petit four with a blue flower. It was hysterical. Jonathan said it was super yummy though.

9. We started watching, "The Floor is Lava" on Netflix with Georgia. It's a cute little team challenge show to watch with your kids.

10. Celebrated Father's Day on Sunday with lunch at home with the very best.
