The idea for this post is from here.
(I feel like I list the same things on about me posts...oh well)
1. I'm very organized in every sense of the word. I like the house to be in order, I have and use a planner daily, I make to-do lists, I use my label maker, and my closet is organized by color as well as by sleeve length.
2. I'm a bit obsessed with decorating our home or future home/s. I tear things out of magazines and have them organized in a binder or if the photos are online I keep them on our external hard drive in folders divided by room.
3. I don't cook. I barely cooked in college...just enough to keep me alive but now that I have a husband who loves to cook and finds it fun and relaxing I just have given up all together and I am 100% ok with that. I don't feel like it makes me a bad wife or him less of a man at all. In fact, when my parents got married my dad had to teach my mom how to cook!
4. I just started a collection of bears! I went to Baylor University and the mascot is the bear. Every time I see bears I want to by them but this weekend I let myself buy my first. I bought it at a market in San Antonio. It is carved out of wood and I'm pretty pumped to keep my eyes peeled for even more bears! (FYI - not stuffed bears or teddy bears) I also collect yard gnomes, Fiesta ware, and blue plates and vases.
5. If I've said this once I've said it a hundred times...I have baby fever but it's just not the right time right now. I can't even count how many times a day I think about baby names. I find it so much fun. My husband and I always joke about the fact that he is ALWAYS talking about cars and I'm ALWAYS talking about babies or baby names. We find middle ground by talking about future "family" cars.
6. I want a new car. I currently drive a Mazda 3 but I think I want a Jeep Commander. When I'm looking for my new vehicle this is my thought process: can it fit 2 dogs and a future baby? If the answer is yes then I can put the car on my list. (My husband will be so proud of me for talking about cars on my blog!)
7. Jonathan and I love to travel and I have a love hate relationship with planning vacations. We like to plan but not OVER plan. I like to be leisurely but at the same time I usually have a list of "must-see" or "must-do" types of things. I recently planned our Italian vacation...this took me hours. Then, Jonathan told me he wants to go fewer places so we can stay at each location longer. I am TOTALLY fine with that but I planned a kick-butt itinerary and now I can't decide how to narrow it down :( Bummer!
