At almost 38 weeks Jonathan and I are now ready to bring our baby home.
- All baby gear is put together and ready for use
- The house is SUPER clean...base boards and all
- Closets are all cleaned and organized
- Bags are packed and in the car as well as the car seat
In non-baby productivity Jonathan and I had a super busy Saturday.
- Did yard work
- Filled up our bird feeders
- Vacuumed the entire house (including the base boards)
- Dusted everything
- Cleaned the leather furniture
- Two loads of laundry were washed, folded, and put away
- I even made the bed...woo hoo. Go me!
- I finished putting in all of my grades (huge relief)
- Took our recycling and donated at Good Will
- Went grocery shopping
- Took 2 nice long walks
- I'm up to date on printing all of my pregnancy blogs and putting them in my binder
...see, we got A LOT done :)
My art show was also on Saturday. My school hosted an International Festival to kick off our Geography Week. My art show had one section that was "Around the World" theme while the rest just show cased the art work from the past 9 weeks. Because of budget constraints at my (private) school I didn't have enough materials to mount or matte my work (which I hated) but I think I still managed to make it look ok. And yes, I look like a whale...I know this.

Way to go! Sounds like a busy but great weekend so far!
Love the art work. My momma is an art teacher so it always makes me think of her seeing the work! You don't look like a whale! You look lovely!
Kae :)
I'd say you got a lot done for being 38 wks preggo!!!
At least you got to submit more than 6 pieces for your show!!! I broke so many hearts telling the kids I could only pick one piece per grade!
You're making me tired and I'm not 38 weeks pregnant!
I think you look great girl! I hope I look that good when it's my time to become a mom! So excited for you & Jonathan to finally meet baby Georgia! Can't wait to see some pics of her when she arrives! Hope you guys have a great rest of the weekend!
Wow! That's definitely a productive weekend. I still have so much to do to get ready for Emerson but I still have 4 weeks. And you DO NOT look like a whale. You are tiny and cute!

Just started following your blog, and 1. You should be very proud of the amount that you got done!
2. You def don't look like a whale, you look like a beautiful 38 pregnant woman!
I like whales...just kidding!! You look beautiful!!!
Way to go on getting so much accomplished!! And you don't look like a whale!! Love the art pictures!
Oh, sounds like to me you are definitely in "nesting mode" and they say that happens just before giving birth. Good for you, you'll be so glad that you have your ducks in a row when little Georgia is born. Blessings to you in the days ahead.
You do NOT look like a whale! I've been informed from a very reliable source that you don't even look prego from behind. And a whale would look prego from all angles. Miss you! G will be here O so soon!!!!
