Wednesday Lovin'

What I Love Wednesday!  {Via Jamie}

Today I'm loving:  Job related things!

1.  Maternity leave officially starts for me today!  I was going to make it until this coming Friday but I think I was beginning to make my boss pretty nervous so when I went into her office on Tuesday she pretty much told me not to come in the rest of the week.  Sweet :)  Although, I may go stir crazy.  I'm the type that doesn't relax very well.  I thrive on staying busy.

2.  I only work part time right now.  I work 5 days a week for half a day but I still felt that was too many hours away from my (soon to be) baby girl.  So, I talked it over with the boss (she's wonderful...have I even mentioned that.  She tells me all the time that with middle school and upper school that my class always fills up first and they have to turn kids down.) and as of right now my schedule for next year will be "part" part time.  We reduced my hours so I will now be working 2 full days...and that's it!  That may just be perfection...we'll see.  Jonathan says that I don't "go to work", that I "go to hang out with my friends"...that's kind of true.

3.  Since yesterday was my last day at work all of my kids were super sweet.  (I teach pre-k 3 all the way up to 12th grade)  The left me notes on my board, asked me OVER AND OVER if I was coming back next year, told me how much they love my class...it was one of those days where you just LOVE your job.  It was nice.

4.  My student art work.  I feel like I haven't been doing a very good job at keeping up with their work lately.
