{Beware - TONS of pictures!}
So, this past weekend Jonathan and I had a weekend full of FALL FUN! (Got to mark off a few things from my Fall Bucket List)
First, Jonathan and I headed to my mom's to drop off G so that we could head out on our "Date Day" doubling as part of my birthday celebration (it's not until the 27th). We went to the Texas Renaissance Festival. This my friends, is people watching at it's best and not to mention the FAIR FOOD! YUM :)
Obviously, we needed to rent a couple of costumes...kidding
Then, I decided I needed to start collecting dragons...not
The "towns" were kind of divided up by countries or continents. They were pretty cute.
One of the theatres
Then, we decided to just shamelessly take pictures of the festival people.
Fairy:
Warrior Princess/Angel???
Best of all: Half man half horse. We just about died!
HUGE swings!
The magic forest
I'm the one with the braid. The elephant trunk came towards me and I jumped and ran away. This was meant to be a picture of me petting it...didn't go as planned.
We bought this in the "Spain" section...so authentic.
Having a TON of fun watching people walk by
Watching some cheesy jousting.
We had a GREAT time. We covered the entire festival and I was beat!
But...
When we went to pick up G from my mom's house we decided to go to an adorable pumpkin patch.
We still have like 2 more pumpkin patches I want to visit and a few more Pinterest pumpkin photo ops I want to tackle but we'll get there!
Sunday was church
Sundays best
(Side note: Jonathan gets G dresses every sunday morning while I get ready. I had her panty hose laid out and he brought her in the bathroom cracking up and says, "Emily, these leggings are so tight that they look like panty hose!" To which I responded, "They ARE panty hose.") Dads are so funny :)
Then, it was Sunday Supper Club. Georgia is looking at Erik like, "You crazy fool!"
good GOOD weekend!

I'm pretty sure she's the cutest pumpkin I've ever seen. And you should totally photoshop the warrior princess into a Walmart aisle!
