Weekend Top Ten - The Birthday Boys

1. My birthday boys!

Milam and Jonathan's birthdays are only one day apart. Milam's main gift was a new racing bike but we also got him an, Echo Dot (LOVES IT), Play Doh set, THIS old school video game, an AC/DC shirt, a boomerang, a PJ Mask set, and some NERF stuff. I feel like I'm forgetting some things but it's been a long weekend. I also got the boys matching shirts. Milam has THIS one and Jonathan has THIS one but I didn't get a picture of them matching! Darn!  I got Jonathan THIS book (we have the Americas version too). Jonathan's parents bought Milam THIS BMX book and it's really cute.

2. Balloon garland

I didn't do a ton to decorate for the boys. I had bought a DIY ballon garland kit on Amazon for Georgia's party and had A LOT left over. I used the left overs, plus more that I had on hand (because I needed blue) to make another balloon garland. And, I still have left over green from G's party. We only did a small family party and I was pretty bummed about it. I was planning on inviting his classmates (for the first time!) but because of covid he has no classmates yet. Bummer.

3. New couch. The chaise raises up the conceal storage and the middle section extends to turn into something like a bed. It is super cool. It is from Rooms to Go but is not online. We saw it in the showroom and ordered it. Our friends have the same one so we knew we would like it! Now, I need new art!

4. Bike Park

5. Working out doesn't normally make my top 10 (ever) but running on a treadmill and watching Elementary next to Jonathan who is riding his bike on a trainer isn't too bad. Plus, it's funny that he took a picture :)

6. Independent reading time has been successful here! I set up a little area behind the couch and Milam really likes it! Winning!

7. Holding hands

Barrett has been reaching for Milam in the car lately when Georgia isn't with us and it's really cute. 

8. They also looked really cute for dinner the other night. Dinosaurs and alligators. So fun. Plus, we were at Jason's so free ice cream = yes please!

9. NINE!

For an entire month these two were nine! Nine years and nine months. Well, he's still nine months but only for a few more days! The quarantine has been so good for their relationship and B loves his second momma!
