Jonathan and I both worked on Saturday (I had a newborn shoot in Houston for a few hours and Jonathan worked a UIL meet at his school) so luckily his parents were able to come help us with the kids and then they took Georgia back home with them to spend the night. Aside from that we had no real plans and shopped too much and ate too much.
1. Penny in the thunder. This weekend started off super stormy and rainy. We finally got some real sun on Sunday. Penny does well with rain but does not like storms or thunder. She tries to find the safest spot possible and blankets help.
3. Legos kept them occupied for a little bit. Well, they occupied Milam for a long time and would have occupied Barrett for longer had I let him just throw them all over the floor.
4. I'm trying to stay in my pilates routine to help with core strength and stretching...if I can find a spare moment.
5. Fridays are for yoga. I sometimes do it during nap time and I sometimes do it while the boys are awake. If B is awake then its an adventure to say the least.
6. Georgia's room refresh. She had been wanting less little kid stuff in her room so I am trying to honor her wishes when I can. She wanted records on her wall and skateboards. It will be a work in progress but it's headed in the right direction.
7. Skateboards as art. I think this actually turned out pretty well. She's switched to "skateboards" rather thank "longboards" so I put her longboards on the wall. She can still take them down if she needs to.
8. Barrett getting some work done. Just a cute little nugget face looking for trouble.
9. Georgia being almost 10. Sipping Starbucks and watching fail videos on YouTube. Don't we all wish life was this hard.
10. His face. And, his love of "flag pants". He drew "Mom Milam" with a heart before mom and one after Milam. He's so dang cute.
