Bentonville 2021

June 21, 2021

Jonathan and Georgia do NOT have the same spring break. Jonathan is a principal but in a different district with a much better schedule than Georgia. And, in addition to them having different breaks BOTH of their spring breaks are right in the middle of Georgia's gymnastics meet season. All of that combined makes travel very tricky but we did manage to take a trip to Bentonville, AR. I gifted the trip to Jonathan for Christmas.  Apparently it is the new mountain bike capital of the US and it did not disappoint.

I started this post a long time ago but am just now getting around to posting it.

These pictures are in no particular order but I'll do my best to remember where everything was.

They went on the last night to the Rail Yards in Rogers, AR.

This is the All American Trail at Slaughter Pen Trails in downtown Bentonville.

We all went to Coler Mountain Preserve. The boys biked. We played and enjoyed drinks and snacks.

Louise at Thaden Field. Delicious food and tiny little airplanes for the kids to play in...plus an amazing playground.

This is also another section of Slaughter Pen

We walked around Downtown Bentonville a lot. We ate dinner at Tavola I believe.

(This was at Coler Mountain from above)

Typical. Velcro to dad.

Our first day there we are at the 8th Street Market at Co-Op. It was yummy.

I think that is most of what we did and saw. There was so much to do and see and we really loved it. Please, if you have any questions let me know!
