Week in the Life (ish)

July 23, 2021

We laid low after vacation and the Fourth of July had come to an end...mainly because we've been tied to the house while our gas line was getting fixed.

Jonathan and I celebrated our 13th year anniversary. We went out to dinner and got dessert just the two of us and it was so nice to just be able to sit and talk and enjoy each other's company without our three little crazies in tow.

Barrett's little personality is getting so funny. He's hiding here. You've got to love it!

Georgia was at camp and Milam spent the week at Jonathan's parents so we just had Barrett to ourselves for a few days which was really nice...we again didn't have a lot of freedom because of the gas line but it was still fun to have him as an only child for a bit. We even went kayaking one evening. Everything feels so much easier when you go from 3 down to 1.

Georgia got back Saturday so we only had two littles for church on Sunday.

After church, we met Jonathan's parents for lunch and got Milam. He was so excited to see Georgia again. He was glued to her.

AND, the gas line was finally fixed so I can now do laundry and dishes and cook and use hot water all at my own home. Still some lingering drama but hopefully it is just a paper work error. Fingers crossed.

Georgia found a box turtle on the driveway. We walked him back into the woods and let him go.

One of Georgia's friends spent some time at our house this week while her mom was at work and I took them to The Tree House Cafe in Magnolia because they have a collection of turtles that live outside. It was the coolest little place. You can see one in the background in the second photo. They had several that were huge!
