DIY weekend!

November 2, 2009

Jonathan and I have had a productive few days. Jonathan put up a curtain rod for me and I added the curtains (actually, they are 2$ flat sheets)! I love them. Like, am obsessed with them!

I made these 3 frames (well, not the frames but the words inside). They say "Ciao", "Bonjour", and "Hola". They are in the entry way above my cute blue bench. In the second picture they look slanted but they aren't in person...I guess a camera can do strange things. All I did was print the words out on scrapbook paper and then went over the words with Sharpie.
I love this Blue Bench we re-did! Only 20$ and a can of spray paint!

Finally, I made this birth announcement sign for a family friend who is having a baby. It was hard to combine UT orange, camo, hunting, and John Deere (nursery theme) but I think I did ok. I've only done one other birth announcement sign (seen HERE) so I hope she likes it.
