Our Easter Weekend

We had a lot of fun over the holiday. We started it off by going to Sharky's. It was such good weather we had to sit outside. The restaurant is in Kings Harbor here in Kingwood.

Then, I bought a new mirror for the mantel at Target. I love it! It was exactly what I was looking for. I just love it when that happens.

We did our Easter baskets. I gave Jonathan a hammock. We've had the stand for awhile but the hammock we got last year was broken and when we went to exchange it they were sold out SO I bought a totally new, and way cuter, hammock for him this year. He loves it...

and so do the dogs.

Paxton also loves the new blanket we got him. He's funny!

On Saturday we went to Sam Houston Park in Downtown Houston. The weather was beautiful!

On Saturday we also visited The Rienzi. It was gorgeous.

Then, just for fun, we drove by the VW dealership and ended up coming home in a 2010 VW CC. Who would have thought?! They've been my favorite car for awhile but I never thought I would actually get one.

Today was Easter Sunday. Here we are at church. I loved this dress on but because of the way it is fitted, and it is very fluffy, it makes me look a bit wide which I don't care for. Oh, well.

And now, here we are after church, after Easter dinner, after a nice long walk...in the hammock. It was such a fantastic weekend!
