Welcome from Kelly's Korner. Today's tour is Laundry Rooms but since our laundry room and pantry are one big space I'm featuring both.
I really thrive on organization and efficiency so I knew this space had to be just that! But, aside from being utilitarian I also wanted it to be pretty. When the laundry room door is open you can see into the space from the kitchen, hall, dining room, and living room so I didn't want it to be a place where our ugly things went to hide and I would always have to have the door shut or it would feel like a cluttered mess.
We added the large built in shelving. It's from Ikea. We added the shelf above the washer/dryer for things we need while running out of the house (as well as the key racks by the door) and I added fabric to the bottom to hide all the cords and tubes.
The chalk board is for groceries, notes, blessings...really whatever.
We also house our trash can in here (I hate it when the trash can just sits out in the kitchen) as well as our recyclables...we recycle everything!
Thanks for stopping by!

OMG I love how organized everything is! :)
At a former apartment we were lucky enough to have a laundry room and pantry.
It's was nice to put all the canned goods and large appliances in an area that everyone had clear access.
Nicely done and very neat. Love the small chalk board=)
Looks very organized! I love that the trashcan is "out of sight."
