Monday Monday!

My first MISCELLANEOUS MONDAY!  Woo to the Hoo!  {Link up HERE}

{1}
So, I posted the other day about going to buy this light but I changed my mind...shocker!

The hubs and I were at HomeGoods (LOVE!) and I saw this beauty!  I asked my husband if he could turn it into a light fixture and he said sure.  So, for 25 dollars we have a nursery light fixture.

Here it is before it was a light:

And, here it is after:

So, after my Target melt down because of maternity clothes designers SUCKING and making clothes too big my sweet husband decided I needed to find some clothes that fit.  So, we headed to Gap and I found a ton of things and the whole maternity section (nearly) was on sale.  So, we spent 80$ and saved 45$!  I got 2 pairs of pants (in addition to the 1 pair I found at Target) and 5 shirts.  I am so happy.  Up until now my maternity purchases included 1 shirt, 1 BeBand, and 2 pairs of leggings.  I think I owed it to myself.  We also bought Georgia some head phones so I could let her listen to a ton of music and picked up a Preggers Pilates DVD which I love so far!

Loving that my clothes fit!

{3}
I was finally able to capture Georgia kicking on video.  I had her listening to classical music on head phones and you can see the headphones bumping when she kicks them.  Keep in mind that the headphones don't fly around and if you're not pregnant or haven't been pregnant it may not seem like a big deal...it looks different in person than on video.  Also, the headphones do move up and down gently when I breathe so remember that while watching the video...so any movement that isn't gentle up and down is her.  (Sorry my dog starts to bark like crazy.  He was barking at Jonathan who was sawing something metal on the back porch.)  Oh, and watch the right side...that's where she was kicking!

Have a fantastic MONDAY!

You look amazing!! You remind me so much of my good friend Angela from nursing school. She was tiny and had long hair, too. I loved the video....I could see her kicking! Cool!!! Thank you for including that. I can't get pregnant, so I'm very lacking in knowing all the terminology....for instance, what's a "beband?" I've seen it on other blogs, too.
Have a good day, Emily!!
And Miss Georgia!!

PS....loved the nursery light!!

Emily,
Oh goodness, I have never seen a video quite like that before; you could SO see your baby kicking in there! Of course, I could see your belly moving as you were breathing, BUT I totally saw the difference between that and the kicking...that's awesome ;)

Hi Emily,
I love that lamp for the baby's room! It is unique and just perfect for a nursery. I had a difficult time finding maternity clothes too, but once I did it was so much better. It's important to feel good about yourself as your belly continues to grow and grow. You look beautiful though! Have a wonderful Monday.
Love,
Tiffany

HomeGoods rocks. Therefore, your new light fixture rocks. Really, really cool!

Maternity clothes are the worst. You look petite. I had the same problem. Glad you found something that works! Why didn't I ever check The Gap?
