Dear Winter,

February 12, 2011

I DO NOT like you in the slightest.

Your dry cold air has:
1.  Given me a cold.
2.  Dried my skin out to a point of ridiculousness.
3.  Put so much static in my hair I have to put it in a ponytail everyday or else I'll look electrocuted.

Not to mention you make our yard brown and dead and cause the dogs to bring in pounds of dead grass everyday.

I feel like I'm growing a double chin because I can't get outside and go on walks every night with my husband and you make the walk from my car to anywhere torture!

You've caused our gas bill to sky rocket because I'm the only pregnant person EVER who doesn't get hot flashes.  I'm cold ALL THE TIME!

Winter, please go away.

Yours Truly,
Emily

Ah winter. As a Canadian winter surviver I suggest you get some hair oil. I use a "heat protection" one, that you are only supposed to use when you blowdry or straighten your hair. But it works get for the winter!! It makes your hair so soft and not static-like.

But that's the only suggestion I have. Sorry!

while it stinks to have a high gas bill, count your blessings not to have hot flashes. I STILL get them every night. It is so gross.

I am a tad over winter too. I am ready to get outside and start walking again too!

I hate winter too! My skin is also extremely dry and I am always cold too (though I'm not prego). haha. I have a little space heater that I sit by me so the bill doesn't get too high. I can't wait for the warm spring!

Oh me too...I especially dislike the high electric bill and the dry skin. Ugh! Spring will be here before we know it! Thank goodness!

Ditto to all 3 above points! Ahh, my skin is not only dry but the Florida tan I once had is fading.

I need sunshine - quick!
