What I Love Wednesday {Hosted by Jamie}

1
Spring Break begins in 2 days.  Yes, I have it pretty easy because I only work half days (from around 12-3) but it's nice being able to lounge ALL day and not just half a day :)  STAYcation...here I come!

2
There are only 68 days until my due date.  Only 68 days until I get to see this sweet little face!  P.S. my students wanted to see my new sonogram pictures and when I showed them this one, a high school student asked me what was on her face.  I told him it was just extra water and fluid floating around because I didn't want to explain to him that her face was shoved into my placenta (which is what most of the funny looking stuff around her was)...that just sounds yucky.

3
Our first baby class is tomorrow!  Hopefully Jonathan and I will be mature enough to not giggle our way through it.

4
I bought all the fabric for G's bedding.  It's not all originally what I thought I wanted (since I didn't want to use pink and ALL of it is now pink) but I think it will turn out great.  I didn't really have much of a choice.  My mom and I had previously picked out the fabrics but when I went back to buy them they didn't have enough left on the bolt (without ordering more...no time for that) for me to be able to use so I had to start from square one.  But, all the fabric I ended up getting was on sale plus I had my 15% off discount for being a teacher so I saved A TON of money which is always nice.

5
Our high school kids left for Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Fiji today. (LUCKY...although I will most likely be joining them next year as they head off to London and Paris!)  But, lucky me because I won't have to teach high school for the next week and a half.  Not that I don't love all of my high school kids and the relief they give me when my 4 year olds drive me crazy but it will be a nice break before spring break to have a smaller class :)  Oh, FYI...I teach at a private school, part time, and I see all the students there.  So, I teach Pre-K 3 through 12th grade and I pretty much love it!

6
I missed work on Friday and Monday so when I came back my students had left this on my board!  Are they not just the sweetest?  The sub left a note saying they insisted on writing me notes.  I had to take a picture before I erased it!

7
My mom made Jonathan and I some food since our past weekend was a bit hectic and unplanned.  It's super yummy and it's kept us full for awhile!

8
The lesson I'm currently working on is going to be donated to the Houston Holocaust Museum.  They are trying to collect 1.5 million butterflies to represent the 1.5 million children who died in the Holocaust and I'm really glad we will be participating.  So, far only 3 of my classes have started but I'll get around to all of my classes eventually.  Here is an example from my middle school group.  Here is the LINK to the website in case you want your class/school to participate as well.  (My husband sent me the link and he even has his English students working on it!)

9
I have a super great husband who helped me do 4 loads of laundry this week and clean a mound of dirty dishes since we're still catching up from last weekend.  He also vacuums...I love him!

10
We have a CRIB!  It was scheduled to come in anywhere between 7-14 business days and it came in TWO!

*I feel super blessed that I was able to easily think of TEN things that I am loving today*

Love the fabric! Can't wait to see the finished product! And the problem Josiah and I have is not always trying to stifle laughter in birthing class, but to stifle throwing up. LOL. Hopefully you won't be subject to the many delightfully graphic images that will haunt us for the rest of our lives.

And I love that Holocaust project! What a great thing in which to participate.

Happy Wednesday!

Woohoo for your crib! I love when things come quicker than expected!

I also didn't intend on having a pink room- I think we did pretty good but we do have quite a bit of pink... who can help it with little girls!

Love the butterflies, so special!

My husband also like to vacuum :)

Happy Wed!

Your baby is SOOOO cute! All of my sonograms were old school, but with yours it REALLY looks like a baby instead of a white and black blur. CONGRATS to you!!!
