Miscellany Monday - Link up HERE!

1.  Plates
My sister in law always makes plates for my niece and nephew for every holiday and occasion and I have always loved them so we started doing them for Georgia as well.  We only have 2 right now (one month and Americana) but with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas coming up the collection will soon grow.  I usually hate things above cabinets but since it's a collection of sorts we'll see how I like it.  I'm still considering a collage plate wall if I end up not liking them up there.

2. Baylor Homecoming
Georgia already had one BU Homecoming dress but she needed another since we will be in Waco Friday - Sunday (we already have our reservations - still need to buy football tickets!)  So, my MIL made her this dress.  I'm going to be getting her monogram on the front in yellow and I paired it with her ruffle pants.  We need a big yellow bow too!  (My MIL is also working on Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas dresses!)  I really like pillow case dresses because they can double as shirts once she gets taller.

3.  Youth Chair
My mom has had this chair in her attic for years...like 20 years.  I'm not even sure how old it is but I love it.  It is the same height as a high chair but it just doesn't have the tray.  I plan on using for some of G's professional pictures.  I think I'll be using it for her smash cake as well as long as Jonathan can build some type of tray to slide onto it.  I plan on painting it but who knows when I'll have the time to do that.  Jonathan already made some repairs...

(I know, another picture of G but this is the only picture I had of the chair.)

LOVE the Baylor outfit :-) I'm also not a huge fan of things on my cabinets and my mother/MIL could not figure that out for the life of them! They kept trying to put stuff up there and it drove me nuts! haha :-) If I find something I know I'll like up there it will go, but I'm not just putting a bunch of baskets up there "Just because" :-) Glad I'm not the only one

That chair is great! I have a little bench from when I was little at my mom's house that'd I like for pictures. My first college roommate ended up transferring to Baylor, I think she would have graduated in 06 or 07.

I wonder if there are still hotels available...I don't know what our deal is but Will and I haven't even talked about Homecoming in months and wether or not we're going...

BUT I'll let you know if we do end up going because Liam and G need to meet their betrothed :)

Love the outfit! :) Hadn't thought about the pillowcase dresses turning into shirts down the road! Great idea.
