Weekend Highlights

September 10, 2012

Linking up HERE with Carissa and HERE with Tami!

Weekends just go by so quickly and Georgia is getting so big so, SO quickly.  I am trying to hang onto every little moment with our little family.  Trying to put the camera down more and just take a lot of "mental pictures" as Jonathan calls them.  I am not making this up.  He tells me all the time that he thinks all his "mental pictures" he takes are going to be waiting for him in heaven.  He's the sweetest :)

{Follow along HERE on a college friend's family and their adoption/life story.}

Friday:

I work in a portable two partial days on Wednesday and Friday.  I am the only one who goes in there on those days so it has it's own alarm.  I managed to set it off on Friday because one of the buttons I couldn't get pushed down correctly and it went off before I could re input it.  That set the whole school's alarm off.  One of my coworkers came across the side walk and fixed it.  It was a good way to start the day off and I was already grumpy so I ate a Twix before 10:00 am.  It was worth it.

Jonathan cooked dinner and it was delicious as always.  I didn't eat that much bread.  I grabbed bread for me, Jonathan, and Georgia but for some reason took the picture before I gave them theirs.  I do love bread though.  Monochromatic meals are my favorite ;)

Saturday:

We had breakfast at home.

And Jonathan and Georgia ran errands while I cleaned the house.  We had a very productive day.  Clearly Georgia has discovered scribbling.

Afterwards we went to Conroe because we had dinner plans with my mom and stepdad.  I didn't take any pictures.

Sunday:

We went to church and taught our 3 year old class as usual.  Then, headed home, had subway, napped, and hung out with friends.

Georgia DID NOT want her picture taken on Sunday.  Not at all.  Until I let her play "side-side".

Sweet girl.

I also got a TON of clothes from my SIL and 2 dresses I had appliqued.  So cute!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

It is crazy how fast it all goes by! Sad but so fun all at the same time! And yeah for new clothes!

Also, for some reason I never noticed your buffalo check curtains... where did you get them?!? I am looking for some for our dining room!

I am so jealous of all your cute hand me downs! And Will always gets on to me about taking too many pictures. Oh well!

I love the idea of mental pictures. Unfortunately I have the worst memory in history so I rely on pictures way too much! Georgia looked too sweet in her little church dress. The cardigan makes her look like such a big girl. Our babies are growing up!
