Spring Break Recap

We had a really laid back spring break week. We basically did nothing because Jonathan does not have the same spring break as the two big kids. I made a list of totally random things that I had needed to do, work wise, and got all of them done. It was really nice.

On Sunday after church we went to get yogurt and the lady who check us out said, "oh your kids are so cute, do you dress them to match on purpose?!" Ha. If she only knew. I thanked her and said it was a compulsion.

The kids went with me to go check on the bluebonnets for some photos shoots and they did so good. It was over an hour each way and I bribed them with McDonalds. I was so surprised there were no tears. Super bummed though that the bluebonnets were lack luster. We're still waiting!

  

Milam got ANOTHER first place trophy for BMX. And, it glows in the dark! So fun. I have no idea what signs he's throwing. Crazy kid.

We wen't to Torchy's for lunch and this kid kills me. His little face is just beautiful. Gah. Love him.

Penny very much enjoyed her break. Lots of sleep and snuggles.

I busted out some more of my brother's clothes and just love this little outfit on Barrett. I can't wait for it to get a little warmer for good to keep showing off those legs.

Jonathan also got a new car. He got a Subaru Outback and him and the kids are loving it.

But also hating car washes still...

One of the funniest things that happened this past week was a random corgi who ran into our house. Literally down the hall. Poor Shelby had wandered away from home and ran into ours. Our kids fell in love but we did find her home although they begged to keep her.

Monday, we were back to school after our long break. We had a whole week off plus the previous Friday. 

Georgia did not wear the hat into school but just had to wear this awful hat walking up to school so she could show her friends that cow print and bucket hats are unfortunately back. Darn.
