Newbies

Here are a few new things around the house:

This is in the hallway where two of our spare bedrooms are and the hall bath.  I found this frame at Goodwill for about 3 dollars.  I scanned the invitations from our various wedding showers, had them printed, and put in this frame.  It worked out really great.  Oh, and I scanned the invitations because I have the originals in a scrapbook and I didn't want to have to cut the originals down to size.  I love having this wedding reminder around.

I also found this frame at Goodwill for 3 dollars.  I used this website (it's in Japanese but I'm pretty sure you can figure it out) to age one of our wedding photos and put it on the mantle.

So, now our mantle looks like this.  I should have taken this picture A) when it was less sunny B) with my back light setting.  But, I didn't do either...sorry.

I took down the photos from above the bed in the front bedroom.  I wanted a "cleaner" look.  The mirror is a peel and stick mirror that I found at TJ Maxx for 7$

My grandmother gave me this white figurine the other day.  I'm not sure how many years ago she bought it but I really liked it and thought it went well in the front bedroom.  Dare I say the front bedroom is done???

I keep seeing on other people's blogs baskets on the coffee table.  I saw one today at TJ Maxx and I've been wanting one to put our favorite photo albums in so they stop getting so much dog hair on them.  We don't need it for anything else because we have drawers on the coffee table so I use it more for display.

I bought new patio chairs!  YAY!
