A Lot in Common

So, Lyndsey (many of you read her blog as well as mine I'm sure) and I met in college.  We were both art history majors and the program at our school was very small.  Lyndsey and I were 2 of 5 graduating art history majors in 2008.  We had tons of classes together and over the course of our college years we studied for many tests together and even planned an 80's themed aerobics workout for a summer class...ha!  Oh, and once we met I realized her boyfriend's (now husband's) mother was my 5th grade teacher!

Besides going to the same college and majoring the same we also have a lot in common.  Let's start at the beginning.

We both got engaged the same week.  She got engaged on a Sunday I think and I got engaged that Friday.
We both graduated in 2008 from Baylor University with degrees in Art History.
We both had a favorite professor named Dr. Jensen.  (yeah, I linked to his University web page!)
We both got married the same summer.  Her in May (I think) and me in July.
We both decided to not get jobs in the art field and became teachers.  (well, I teach art though)
We both bought (brand new) houses with our hubbies within months of each other.
We both have 1 small dog and 1 big dog.
We are both pregnant.  She is due in April and I am due in May.

Lyndsey recently wrote this on my blog:  "I'm pretty convinced that if one of us has a boy and the other has a girl they will end up going to Baylor and getting married! "
