Blessing Box

November 2, 2010

Side note:  I changed my display name to "Emily P."  I had my full name on here but shortened it.  Just FYI.

1.  As of next week football season is OVER and so is my first trimester!  We never planned on Jonathan being a football coach.  It just kind of fell into his lap because his Assistant Principle knew Jonathan played football in high school (team captain...woo hoo!) but we're both glad to see his football days be over!

Just for good measure here is one of Jonathan's high school football pictures along with a picture of me in my dance team officer uniform...because we were that cool!

Team captain, Jonathan

Lt. Colonol, Emily
(And for those not from Texas, this dance team uniform is totally normal.  Promise!)

Weren't we a cute little high school couple?!

2.  I haven't had morning sickness in about a week!  And, hopefully when I enter the second trimester I'll be back to my normal self.

3.  My husband.  I know I've said it 100,000 times but he's amazing!  He's not only a teacher who teaches 3 subjects (English I, English III, and Creative Writing) but he's a coach as well.  On top of teaching and coaching he's getting his masters!  (He graduates in May!)  And, once he's done with this masters he wants to get a second.  And, once he's done with his second he wants to get his Doctorate!  He wants to be a Professor of Education.  On top of his teaching and studies he cooks for me and helps me clean the house and does all the yard work!  So, don't you all agree that he's fabulous!?

Ok another thing we can add to the "our lives are identical" list - I was on drill team too! And our outfits were equally ridiculous but we had petticoats underneath our skirts! Ah, the good old days!
