4 Things!

January 13, 2011

{Sorry some of my posts randomly dissapear.  I schedule my posts and sometimes hit the wrong button while I'm working and they post before I want them too...so I take them down.  Just FYI}

I got the idea from Live What You Love!

4 Things You're Passionate About:
- My Marriage
- My Religion
- Baby Georgia
- Living with in your means

4 Things I Say A Lot:
- "Thank You"  (To Jonathan for constantly helping me around the house)
- "I Love You Too"  (My pre-k kids always say, "Mrs. Powell, I love you")
- "Get Down"  (This is directed to Perry and Paxton as we are trying no dogs on the furniture)
- "Sit On Your Pockets"  (Said to my students)

4 Things I Have Learned From The Past:
- Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
- Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
- Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
- Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
{all these were take from an article I posted about awhile ago.  Read the entire thing here}

4 Places I Would Like To Go: (mine are all art museum related!)
- Paris:  The Louvre

- Boston:  Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

- Florence: The Uffizi

- Venice:  The Peggy Guggenheim Collection

4 Things I Did Yesterday:
- Did my morning devotional
- Went to work
- Ate dinner with my husband :)
- Went to TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning, and Starbucks!

4 Things I'm Looking Forward To:
- Georgia's birthday!
- Maternity pictures and our first set of newborn pictures!!!
- Spring Break (Babymoon!)
- Summer (Family vacation!)

4 Things I Like About Winter:
- Nothing...blah!

AND you will love the Louvre, we seriously got lost in it. It's my fave, but we've also been to the ufizzi and Guggenheim, both great as well:-)

Loved reading this, and your blog is amazing glad I stopped by!

There are so many things you listed in this post that I love! Great insight from things you have learned in the past. I am so about living within your means, too! So many people would have less stress in their lives if they lived that way. And my phrase for my kiddos is always, "Criss cross applesauce, on your back porches." I probably say it in my sleep. I like your back pockets phrase!

Also, how is the no furniture thing going? I would love to break Boone of that...especially when we have kiddos.

Happy Weekend!
