Nursery Reveal II {The Break Down}

April 21, 2011

What did this nursery cost us exactly???  Here is the break down for those interested.

Everything in italics was gifted to us and will not go towards the total cost of our room.  Our total will be what we spent, out of our pockets.

The total does not include things like coat hangers and storage boxes that cannot be seen.  We're focusing on the aesthetic items mainly.

Mattress:  Sealy Baby Posturepedic Crown Jewel Crib Mattress from BabiesRus- 150$
Crib:  Carter's Sleep Haven 3 in 1 Crib from BabiesRus- 199$
Fabric:  Alphonse and Mona by Alexander Henry - free (I bought it a year ago)
Fabric:  Joann Fabric - 48$
Nursery Light:  Home Goods - 25$
Glider and ottoman:  Free from my sister in law

Paper lanterns:  Free, I bought them when J and I first got married.
Art Prints:  Kinko's for printing (since I made them) - Around 2 $ I think

All baskets:  Free, I either already had them, bought them with gift cards, or they were actually gifts.
Clothing rack:  Hobby Lobby - 5$

This was never meant to be a nursery on a budget really but it ended up being ridiculously affordable thanks to our wonderful family!

Our total out of pocket expense for this amazing space was only 163$!  Whoa!

y'all rock with that final total!! amazing! We already have so many things being offered to us and I know people are itching to buy things as soon as we find out gender...hopefully through the outpouring of love from our families our nursery budget will be similar! Plus...I find doing those types of projects on a strict budget almost feels like a game or a challenge to me! :)

The final project was just perfect! Georgia is one blessed little gal!
