It's Monday (Blah!)

Linking up with Miscellany Monday!

Here are my randoms for this hum drum Monday

1.  For Granted
Lately, I've been feeling REALLY guilty.  Sometimes I get so irritated and annoyed when Georgia wakes up before her nap should be over or gets up too early in the morning because she poops.  I mean, really Emily?!  You have a healthy, beautiful, wonderfully made little baby girl and you let a poor nap get under your skin?  Even when she was a newborn and we were dealing with colic for her first 7 weeks I was on pins and needles all the time and now I feel so guilty about that time...like I couldn't do enough for her or something.  (When I think about having a second child I get mixed emotions.  She was SUCH a hard newborn that I feel like I don't want to go there again...or do sleep training a second or third time.  But then again, I always feel like I've done so much wrong and I need a second chance to try and get it right.  Is that bad?)  I take so many things about Georgia for granted and I shouldn't.  Some couples can't have children and I'm upset because she woke up 30 minutes before normal from her nap?!  She is such a wonderfully sweet little girl.  She is very smart, very curious, a natural born over achiver and I should feel 100% blessed 100% of the time because I am!

Phew!  I just needed to get that off of my chest!  Sorry, that was kind of "heavy"!  Isn't she such a doll?

2.  Spring Break
We had a LOVELY spring break.  If you want to get technical I only had 2 days off because I only work 2 days but I count Jonathan being home as a holiday.  He is such a wonderful father and an amazing help to me all the time.  I don't know what I would do without him!

We did a whole lot of nothing over the break which I loved.  Although, I did pack up a lot of junk from closets so our house will look better for listing and made a big dent in our "for sale" to do list...like, a lot of yard work.  Things are coming a long!  We even went and cruised around future neighborhoods which was fun.  So much is up in the air for next year but I just have to give it all to God because I know none of it is in my control.

3.  Photo Check List
I've been making some progress in my Spring Photo Check List that I first mentioned HERE!

Happy Monday to all :)

I feel the same way about EC! I think it's because from the time her eyes pop open she is GO GO GO! And she isn't truly mobile yet! ha! Love the blue smocked outfit, it's a bubble right? I just got EC the sweetest spring romper in that color. I LOVE big blue eyes and blue smocked outfits, to DIE for! :-) Happy Monday!!!

Sometimes I have the feeling I won't know what feeling guilty is until I have kids. Moms seem to feel guilty over everything! I'm not minimizing your feelings--I think it's wonderful that you're trying to enjoy every moment with your beautiful daughter and give her all that you can. But I just feel like you're probably doing an awesome job, and you should maybe realize that too. :)

Happy Monday!

Every mom has mom guilt from time to time - don't let it get you down! And every baby is so different so don't let her colic scare you away! She looks adorable in her pics :)

I wish we could start gardening! We can't start until End of May because Calgary has crazy weather and it could still snow. How annoying!

Thanks! It is crazy how independent some babies are so young, makes me a little sad and definitely tired!! I have a question for you: what do you feed Georgia for her meals? Mason is just about refusing baby food and I want to make sure that he is eating healthy and getting the proper nutrition.

just read this post and I feel the same way about my kids and I just want to say you are not alone and that is normal! My daughter had horrible colic like 18 straight weeks colic. When I survived that I thought I could survive anything, so we had another...well, let's just say Micah has taken me to a whole new level of what I was not prepared for. So even though my second was worse, that may not be the case for you; the point is that every baby is different so what you think you did wrong or right w/ Georgia may not work for #2 or #3. Motherhood is exhausting. Have you read this post yet http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/glennon-melton/dont-carpe-diem_b_1206346.html It really changed my perspective on "enjoying every moment" b/c let's face it it isn't going to be all sunshine and roses every day. PS love all the party details it will be a great party!!
