I'm Lovin' It

What I'm Loving Wednesday

{Link up HERE}

It's a LONG list!

1.  My husband is the new Assistant Principal at his school!  Jonathan's interview process was a whirlwind.  He studied for the AP exam, took the practice exam, the real exam, passed the exam, interviewed, and got the job all in the SAME MONTH!  He was approved by the school board on Monday night.  This is such a huge deal for his career and I am so proud of him!  Not to mention, he's only 26!  I think it's so crazy he's going to have his own office and a secretary.  Ha.  He's excited because he gets an ipad...boys.

2.  I got Georgia's Paper Coterie birthday box in the mail and I LOVE it!  This product is apart of the My Life Collection and I used the code summergrams and got it for free.  I did pay 11 dollars in shipping but it originally cost 42 dollars!

These boxes are huge!  Here is the inside!

Oh, and my order came with a free stand up calendar!

Here is another Paper Coterie deal going on right now!

3.  My Citrus Lane box shipped Monday!  Woo Hoo!  They are fun to order for yourself and your little one but my neighbor just had a sweet little boy and I gifted a 3 month subscription to her.  I wanted to get her more than just something on her registry.  This month's theme is Bon Voyage!  I CANNOT wait to see what products are selected...especially since we'll be going on vacation next month!  This was our box last month and we loved it!

4.  I've started doing a lot of sketches for my new project!  Aunt Bee's Custom Canvas.  The sketches are my favorite part!  I'm working on a few teacher designs for back to school, Memorial day/ Veteran's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving/Fall, Christmas, Election Day, and New Years.  Plus, I'm working on the sketch for my giveaway winner!  I have a lot of work ahead of me!  Let's keep in mind this is my first sketch of this particular project and I do all custom fonts by hand with no tracing.  Obviously this isn't the anywhere near final.  It's not even centered and I would like to incorporate some birds but I'm not sure how.

5.  I read online that switching to line drying from using your dryer can save 50$ a MONTH!  So, I decided to give it a try.  I know line dried clothes can be stiff and I don't use fabric softener because it's hard to find a free and clear kind in our town.  Anyway, I researched and found that 1/2 a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle will do the trick and ya' know what?  My line dried clothes WERE NOT stiff.  Win win!  Well, the dish towels were but I could care less about those.

6.  We've had very few sunny days here but the ones we have had we have been trying to make the best of them with eating outside and riding bikes!

7.  I love this funny picture.  Jonathan made Georgia a dish towel skirt.  I laughed so hard!  Those daddies are so funny.

Happy Wednesday!

{ps Pray for me!  I'm doing my first day of couch to 5k today!}

I'm doing C25K, too! Never been a runner, but I'm actually keeping up with this program. Love all the stats at the end of the workout, too. Good luck!

Congratulations to Jonathan! Good luck with the couch to 5k...I used a very similar program as a first step to train for the marathon a few years back, and it worked really well for me! Just be careful in the heat.
