This was a fun project for both Georgia and I. I used my Crayola air dry clay and cut out several heart shapes with cookie cutters. Then, I poked holes so that I would be able to string them as a garland on the fireplace.
Then, I taped some wax paper on the table, after letting the hearts dry for 2 days and gave them a base coat of pink paint. After the base coat I let Georgia go to town on them. She went crazy!
The paint dried very quickly and during her nap time I was able to hang them up.
I love that they are so imperfect.
