"Fun Day"

June 10, 2013

When Georgia is enjoying herself and having a good time she says, "fun day" and then rambles on and on about her day and what she has liked about it.

Well, this whole weekend was a "fun day" for Georgia.  Starting on Thursday...kind of.  Here's a recap.

My friend Lauren's birthday was on Thursday so to celebrate we took all the babies swimming at her mom's!  It was a lot of fun but we were the first ones to leave because as soon as Georgia got up from her nap we had to drive to Jonathan's boss's house to go swimming...again.  Actually, Jonathan was the only adult swimming because we were the only ones with little person who wanted to swim but didn't know how to.

Friday was just a typical day but we went to get yogurt so that makes it a good day in Georgia's book.

Then, on Saturday I went shopping and Jonathan and Georgia went to the park and heritage museum.  After her nap we went to Rudy's with his parents and then to pick blueberries.  She had such a great time.  She also got her own ipod touch this weekend so her life is good.  As of right now she only gets it in the car...and it was free so it's a win win.

On Sunday we went to church.  I came home to relax before VBS.  Jonathan and Georgia stayed at church then came home after.  Later I left to work VBS.  VBS for us this year is from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm and I only work a short time.  I do the crafts for the 2 - 4 year olds.  And, that age can only come if their parents are volunteering so it's not a huge group.  I only do two 20 minute groups so it goes really quick.  This Sunday I went in early to set up but the next days I don't have to.

Here's to a busy weekend followed by an equally busy week!

Fun weekend, I love the blueberry picking pictures. Poor Grace has been stuck at home for awhile now so we are in a phase of "not fun" days. Lot of "I don't like it," or "I don't want to." boo.

Blueberry picking looks fun! I should see if we have anything like that around here. And swimming is always a good idea - makes for tired toddlers after!
