We went to visit Sam...Sam Houston in the neighboring town to the north, Huntsville Texas. We were going to meet my brother there for lunch and then he got new patients an hour away and couldn't make it BUT we were already wanting to go for the day so we just headed out just the three of us.
When she finally saw him. She was excited because he is SO big!

It was so bright that day she had to wear my sunglasses to look up at him or she couldn't open her eyes.
Afterwards we took a Blue Bell break. Yum...
Yay for the self timer pics! G was saying CHEEEEEESE!
Then, we went to get a bite to eat since we would be getting home way past lunch time and we were all getting a bit cranky!

It was a fun, quick trip!

We took our boys there on the way home from Galveston and they were blown away by how huge the statue is, ha! Love the pics :)
