When She's At School

September 11, 2013

I got up on this particular Tuesday morning and made breakfast for Georgia and I.  We watched cartoons off and on while eating, talking, and playing.  I made her lunch and got her bags ready for school then I got myself and Georgia dressed and ready for the day.

I walked her to her class a little bit before nine and drove back home.

When I got home I ran one mile and walked another mile. (My mom's neighborhood has SO many hills and it's a really difficult run for me!)  I cooled down a bit and ate some yogurt and drank a glass of water then I was off to take a shower because when I ran at 9:30ish it was already 90 degrees outside.

Before noon I had eaten lunch, balanced the check book, looked over our budget, done two loads of laundry, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, texted Jonathan to ask him how is day was going, perused the internet a few times, written a congrats letter, and texted a friend all while listening to Spotify :)

Then, I tried to clean my Coach leather purse.  It didn't go so well.  It doesn't look worse but it for sure doesn't look clean either.  Oh well.  I tackled my toe nails next and took advantage of Georgia not being here to give myself a pedicure since I knew I would be wearing cute peep toe heels on Saturday.  I also did my eyebrows because if G sees me doing them she begs to play with the tweezers and then tries to poke them in her eyes.  Fun.  Somewhere in the mix I do my devotional and try to make sure I'm drinking more water (I never drink water so I'm trying to do better!)

Other days I run errands and do more out of the house...but not today.

I leave the house at 2 to go get gas and pick up my girl!  Yep, so that's what I do while my baby's at preschool.

I loved reading about your day! I think you did a lot of the things I would do if I had the day to myself! It's funny how those little mundane things become more exciting when you can actually concentrate on them and not have to worry about wrangling a toddler! :)

This was fun to read! Sounds like a good day. Also, Georgia's lunch impresses me. Wyatt is such a picky eater right now.

It is amazing how much you can accomplish with out having a little helper. I bet it so refreshing to have some moments to yourself.

Dang, you are productive! I'm just going to say I spend my days cooking an overdue baby and leave it at that :) But it is crazy how much faster things get done without a toddler at your heels! Hopefully when Liesl gets here she will be a good sleeper so I can be super productive while Liam is at school!

I would be so lazy, bravo for getting things done!

ps. try the Dasani drops for water, it's not too sweet and you can add as much/little as you want. I drink a gallon of water a day!
