We went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo a week or so ago and despite the chilly weather we had a great time. I'm pretty sure it's the largest rodeo in the world and a HUGE deal here in the Houston area. Georgia loved the livestock area and all the children's activities. Before the rodeo begins they do the National Anthem with fireworks inside the stadium and Georgia FLIPPED out (because of the 4th of July incident last year where the fireworks malfunctioned) and was just terrified. But, other than that she loved it.
Last year she would not ride a horse and this year she was all about it. I was so proud of her! She got a stuffed horse that she named "Dr.Pepper" after the horse she rode, a rodeo princess necklace, and a ton of free goodies.

If I lived out that way I'd definitely go to the rodeo..looks like so much fun!
