First of all, thank you so much for your kind words and support from my weighty posts HERE and HERE. It feels good to know that y'all care and understand.
Because of what's been going on in my life I just don't feel inspired to blog. But because my life is more than just my troubles I need to document all of it. I need to remember and highlight the good. Because there is a lot of good!
First of all, this girl is my sunshine. I just love her and cannot get enough. Although I can on some days...like when I'm counting down to nap time and then bed time. Like the days I find her playing with gum she found under a public table or putting toilet water in her mouth (at our house).
Not this weekend, but the one before that, I went to Dallas to host a shower for one of my best friends from college. I left my house at 7 am. That's REAL early for me.
While I was gone Jonathan sent me these pictures. Notice they went to get breakfast with her pajamas on. She had a wonderful weekend with her daddy. He's awesome.
We've started doing some handwriting skills and she's doing really well for not even being three. My mom now has me all set up to teach her the "correct" skills on how to write so that should be happening soon!
I bought her a few things at Target for her "big girl room" whenever we do eventually find a house. Her room is actually "done" in theory. We don't need to buy anything else for it. Besides a house...and paint :)
This past weekend Jonathan went camping with my dad and brother Austin. So, it was just Georgia and I for the weekend. We went to a birthday party and a school auction. I do horribly when Jonathan isn't home. I just don't like it and I don't sleep well either. But we made it through with a trip to my mom and step dad's house for the day.
By sunday I was feeling a bit icky. I had been trying to get a sore throat for a few days and when I woke up on sunday I was exhausted and my throat hurt. By the end of the day I was fine though so I'm guessing my allergies are just getting to me in this crazy up and down weather. We closed the weekend with dinner at my brother's house.

Great pictures of the shower! Loved making the early morning drive with ya haha!
Great pics! I laughed so hard at Georgia's butt sticking out from under the blanket in the one picture!!!
such a pretty shower! 7 am is REALLY early for me too now that I'm not teaching. not sure how I did earlier than that for those years! ;) You're more brave than I am! I'm also pretty bad at being at home alone. I've only stayed at home one night without Justin...the other times we always go to my parents'. ;)
