Random Acts of Kindness

June 3, 2010

Over at Kelly's Korner they are talking about Random Acts of Kindness (something we should probably all take more time to do).  Here are some easy ideas.

Actually let someone over in traffic.
Donate to Goodwill or a charity
Buy a copy of your favorite book and donate it to a hospital
Pay for a friend or family members meal
Bring snacks for the lounge where you work
Write a letter to just say, "Hi"
Send a greeting to someone you know who is in the hospital
Leave the coupons you don't use at the store for others
Put your grocery cart up

I like the donating books to a hospital - I will definitely consider doing that with a lot of my classroom books when I'm through with them (the ones I'm not saving for my own kiddos) or maybe to a low income school or something.

Those are lovely things. If everyone did 1 nice a day we would live in a better world.

I especially love that you paid for your co-worker's meal.

What a great gift!
