A Weekend in Review

When Jonathan got home from work on Friday I had a cake and presents waiting for him.  Usually, I would have all of his surprises waiting for him in the morning but he had to get up early on Saturday to go to practice so I just did it on Friday night.  I got him navigation for his Jeep, 2 cds, and some new shoes for work.

He had just gotten out of the shower and yes, since he is outside A LOT because he's a football coach he often gets sunburn.  Although, he looks more sunburn in the picture than he actually is.  I was lazy this year and bought him a cake instead of making one but I did make him banana bread which he loved!

(Notice the 5 candle in the picture?  Last year when I turned 24 my nephew was 2 and my sister in law let him go to the Dollar Store and pick out presents for me.  He bought me a 5 candle among other funny things.  So, this year when Jonathan turned 25 we were able to use the 5 candle.)

Once he got home from work on Saturday we went to dinner with Jonathan's parents.  They bought him a gun safe.  It now takes up a large amount of space lives in our master closet.  Then we went and got dessert with Erik and Rachel and went to see The Switch.  (the little boy in that movie is SO cute!).

Today, we went to church and out to lunch.  Then, we came home and did some last minute school stuff plus some really boring stuff like yard work and laundry.  It's been a pretty boring day but a pretty busy weekend.

Maybe my posts will get more exciting in the next few weeks :)
