Blogging - Getting Back

February 10, 2020

Blogging has taken a hit more with this third kid than with my other two. It's a combination of a lot of things but mainly comes down to spending my time with my family or when I have spare time I just want to be and not think. I'm trying to find a sweet spot in time management to keep up with my family memories. I'm not going to go back and recap the months/weeks that I've missed (I do chat books so I'll have some record of what we were doing) but I'll just start where I am now. (But, then I forgot to post it)

Sunday
Today we took Barrett to church for the first time.  We waited longer to take him than our other two but he's our only fall/winter baby so we're doing everything possible to keep him safe. He wasn't mad in these pictures he's just not used to being outside in the sunlight.  He's inside 99% of the time.
Monday
Milam got a new, bigger, bike.  He is obsessed.

Tuesday
Milam went to school
Wednesday
Barrett enjoyed his jumper for the first time
Thursday
Speech day
Milam was obsessed with the "singer player" and Barrett is working hard to roll over.
Friday
Speech day
Me and the boys laid low at home and I shaved off Barrett's baby mullet.

Saturday
I had a photo shoot.  Then, we went out to dinner and Georgia brought a friend.
Sunday
Jonathan took Georgia to her gymnastics meet in Galveston. We don't take the boys because it would just be too hard and not worth it at all.
So proud of this girl! She has worked so hard and out of every girl on her team is probably most improved! From her mock meet to her first meet her overall score went up two points and from her first meet to her second meet her over all score went up another two points! Just her progress alone makes me the most proud. Tonight she got third on bars (9.625), 4th on floor (9.55), 6th on beam (9.2), and 6th on vault (9.125). Overall she placed 5th and her gym placed 2nd. Good job, G! You did great!

I agree. Kid #3 takes the blogging out of you. I haven't regularly posted on my personal page and now I thought it to be a great idea to start a home blog, although that one I only post on when I do a DIY or remodel a room. I enjoy being disconnected and being in the present but I do miss writing too. It is all about finding the balance. Your little gentlemen are adorable and congrats to your little lady.
